    G’Day
Got a Diplomat 8702 W/D (integrated) that has power, locks the door, but then won’t do nuthin, not a sound.

Checked I/L (live out on C when door locked OK), timer has L & N present and no signs of damage, module is visually fine (no burns, or blown tracks).

Is this a hybrid that depends on the module to start up? Any suggestions? Must admit I don’t know where to go from here.

(Module is the Elmarc H7.9 1200 with 12 plus 8 on the side and 12 on the end)

    Thanks

Door lock is a timer function – everything else runs from the board. It’s a classic failure. May be worth checking the the two big white resistors – if they die, the board won’t power up.

    Regards,
    Chris.

Definitely the two big white resistors , very common fault, available from connect they are called dropper resistors.(80 pence each). 10 minute job.
