    My SMEG Fridge is just under 3 years old and keeps intermittently cutting out. You only know it’s happened when you notice things in the fridge no longer feeling chilled and a pool of water in the salad crisper. If you turn the thermostat to zero and then back up to your required temperature you hear the motor kick back in and it’ll be OK for a couple of days again. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

    Good chance that its only the thermostat faulty, pretty simple and cheap repair if so.

    Hi Helbel
    Is the ventilation in accordance with the installation booklet?
    Is the cooling fan near compressor running ok??
