    Hi
    Can anyone help? My hotpoint washing machine model BWD 129 has flashing lights – the ‘door locked’ LED flashes rapidly at the same time as two other LEDs – the ‘delay start’ and the ‘1200 600’. What should I do?

    Our electricity went off yesterday and I wonder if this has something to do with it.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Counting from the top down, which lights are flashing, 1+3, 2+4 etc?

    lights one and four are flashing.

    Unfortunately this equates to a software/eeprom error. Not a simple DIY fix. It may be possible to rectify this fault without parts but the only people who have the laptops enabled with the software to do this are Hotpoint/Indesit engineers. 😥 If it is under 5 years old then you are covered by their 5 year parts guarantee, so that may be your best option.
    Their labour charge is just under £90 though.
