    Hi

Can anyone help me with this problem? Basically, my washer refuses to pump and spin at the end of the programme. All it does is flash the rinse and spin orange lights and eventually turn off 😥

I checked this site yesterday and thought I’d get hubby to take the back of and have a look in the pipes to see if he could find any blockages. Well, he took off the lid, and there is a white contraption in the back left hand corner that was full of gunk. We cleaned it out, put it back together and put it straight into pump mode. Hey presto, it pumped. Then we put it into Spin mode. Hey presto it span. So…. thought everything was ok and set the machine to a full programme. Grrr – got to pump and spin and the lights are flashing again!!!! 😡 😡 😡

Any ideas? Be gentle too ( I have no technical knowledge whatsoever 😆 )

    Thankyou.

You have cleared the anti-syphon bottle (fine and good!), now you should do the filter – under the kick board at the front. There is an emergency drain hose under there to allow yuou to drain the machine is a controlled fashion. Check all the way back to the impellor – the 5p piece can get through the filter.

Impeller is part of drain pump and is situated behind filter cap at rear, once removed.
