    hi all,this dishwasher will not do anything 😕 allthough the timer can be heard clicking.any help would be appreciated.

    I presume this is a model with a timer knob? if it has hold the knob over to one side and see if anything kicks in, if it does the timer will be faulty with bad contacts

    hi mal, this machine has got amechanical timer,but no knob 😕

    Smeg with a mechanical timer – it’ll be doing the “E2” thing. You can double check by blowing back up the feed to the float/diaphragm shut off in the base – it’ll trip the p/sw briefly and it’ll all burst back into life.
