Hi, When my machine goes onto the spin cycle it was only spinning
slowly, and making a strange noise. Then picking something up off
the floor, looked under machine and saw sparks coming from
    the motor 😯 😯 . So switched off 💡 .
Does this mean a new motor 😥 ,

    thanks B W

Hope i havn’t posted twice first time didn’t seem to work.

It’ll be the motor brushes wearing out, Bev. You’ll need a pair of these:

If you’re not confident about removing the motor and fitting them, click the link below for a UKW engineer in your area.

In the meantime, don’t use the machine – you run a serious risk of cooking the motor – then it gets expensive!

    Power off if investigating.

Similar to the brushes on an alternator on the car, let him have a go , if not as p45 says look up a local wg engineer
