    Please can u help, i have the Ariston Margherita 2000 washer machine, the water is not draining away, and by searching from these posts it looks like it could be the filter.

    Bow the problem i have is i did not get a manual, i understand i can not download one either. Could you explain to me where it is? I have undone the hatch at the back, and i cannot see anything obvious.#

    I also understand i have to stick the drain hose in the washing machine to drain the rest of the water out, and rock it back and forth … which one is the drain hose?

    Filter is under the kick board across the front bottom of the machine. Drain hose is the grey one – get it down in a washing up bowl and drain until the water stops. Filter will unscrew – check right to the back of the chamber by the impellor for foreign bodies.
