the machine has been slowly dying over the past few months it is 13 years old. Now upon starting the machine fills but will rotate the drum it just stops and beeps!
I followed the error code process
from right to left with spin on the right
1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0
from a previous post i see this could be a motor fault, but that was for another model does it apply for my machine

Fault code(136) indicates Motor Stall Fault
The manual suggests to check
1 /Wiring harness Ie connections to motor Motor controller etc
2 Check free rotation of agitator & bowl by rotating by hand.Maybe bearings & seals are Seized)
Check rotor postion sensor(RPS)/motor Area for signs of water & corrosion
3 Motor controller fault.Experience thou suggests Check under washer for signs of water leaks
Shaft seals give way and water leaks onto motor & RPS
If Looks Clear then RPS HAS BEEN Subject to Corrosive terminal problems.
