ParticipantBeen to one of these integrated Smegs (PIGS), there are five LEDS which signify faults, reading from Left to Right, lets call them L1 L2 L3 L4 & L5. On this machine LEDs L2, 3 & 4 are lit & L5 flashes. When i went to it there was still water in machine, it hadn’t emptied. How do you reset the fault? I got it to go by holding up float sw’ in base & it emptied. Then by a process of trying several sequences of pressing program & on/off buttons i got it to accept a new program setting & it seems to be up & running again. I don’t know what reset it or what was registered fault. I have removed non-return flap in sump as reccommended on here by the way.

Something useful landing in your inbox……….
Almost all problems with these relate to water level control or dodgy dispenser solenoids. Not sure about removing the non-return flap – it certainly needs to be lifted when the pipe behind it is rodded out – surprising how much crud accumulates in there.

Hi Chris, Re: my post W/Pool/Ikea/Smeg DWF416 I was wondering if my problem is water level related. Any chance of sending me the info your sending Seamy?
Cheers Goose

Says in the “Known Error ” section, look for non return flap & throw it away, now i realise everything on here is not gospel but i did exactly as it says on the tin.

Finally got to speak to someone at Smeg (in technical), quess what, its a falt that doesn’t exist. Likely to be either a bad soap dispenser solenoid or motor start capacitor.
They throw up faults like this! So back i go to check those things… -
