Providing that the inside is not scorched and door is still aligned and door glass isnt cracked or damaged in anyway.
The best way really is to get a microwave engineer to give it the once over and give it a leakage and insulation test, just to put your mind at rest 😉

Thanks for the reply Gegsy. It might be just as well to invest in a new one. The wattage on the Matsui is pretty low compared to the newer ones. Any recommendations for a basic microwave. We only really use it to reheat food so it doesn’t have to be all singing and dancing 😆
To be honest, if thats all you are using it for, any make will do. Just resign yourself that a replacement will probably be annually, hard to tell really.
