    Hi
    I’m looking for help on above model.

    Freezer has four shelves, the top one is not freezing. Other three ok?

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Probably a system failure but the model number would help 😉

    Sorry for the delay, been away for a few days.

    Model is FZ60P, No. 26101309, R134a.

    When you say system failure, what does that actually entail?

    System failure is an internal leak or a compressor problem but as you have a frost free model it may be a defrosting issue.

    Try a shutdown for 24/48 hours and see what happens 😉

    Hi Dave

    The lady who owns the freezer, only switched it back on yesterday (Thur), as it was still dripping, she estimates approx a 1.5 gal. came from it (14yrs without a defrost). It is now freezing on all shelves!

    She sends her thanks.

    Also asks how often she should do a defrost?

    Once a year is advisable methinks, January each year is a good time to do it (avoiding the hot summer months and Christmas 😉 )
