ParticipantMy dishwasher started bleeping during a cycle and when I opened it the error code F2 was flashing. After I messed around with it for a bit it started working again but now after a few minutes it bleeps and error code FA comes up. When it was in warranty I had a similar problem (possibly with different error codes though) and when the engineer came out he fixed it by pressing a few buttons. If it needs fixing and I have to pay for it then I will have to but I don’t want to call an engineer out and then find it could be fixed by pressing a series of buttons, which I could do myself!
Any advice would be much appreciated. Nothing too technical though please! 😕

ParticipantWater has leaked into the undertray of the machine and activated the flood protrection system. Possible cause is the water level control in the sump being dirty/sludged up. Draining the undertray will allow the machine to fill again, but you must identify and rectify the source of the leak.
Power off, if investigating.

I’ve just drained some of the water off. However, probably me missing something, but don’t see how you can tip a fully integrated dishwasher back?
It’s beginning to look like I will need an engineer. I knew I should have extended the warranty!

Ah – it will have to come out of the housing……..
If you’re not sure, please use the repairs@ link for a UKW engineer in your area.

I contacted the recommended repairer and they have told me they do not come out as far as my area! I don’t understand why they were recommended to me after putting my postcode details in!

KeymasterHi Noel,
Could you possibly PM me with the repairer’s name and your postal area and I’ll look into that?
Thanks
K.
