    Hi there ive got a call on monday to look at a Samsung f/f not sure model yet. according to customer the freezer side is not cold enough, any help b4 i go, thanks

    most faults on these are temp problems with fridge side,

    gets some more details ….model no etc..

    hi funkyboogy, been to look at machine today mod rs21fcsv s/n 847243cw500194d. Running freezer at -5 normally runs at -20, motor always running no large ice build up anywhere to show lack of gas maybe pot?. appreciate any advice thanks, mike

    did you check freezer evaporator,,for ice over-dose????
    if freezer evap ok..then you would have to suspect system fault…
    not a job you want to go down if you dont have the right eqipment ?
    does sound like gas/pot ..
    ive done quite a lot of these rs 21,s and never seen a system fault…
    but theres always a 1st..

    Yeah evap plate clean customer went on holiday for 2 weeks and switched off appliance, any ice would have defrosted looks like system fault, thanks Mike
