I have a Smartdrive 085 which for the last month or so has been taking an hour or so to fill the tub. This morning (just before the start of the Moto GP!) it failed to fill the tub at all (cold, warm or hot) and now just sits there at the start of its cycle.
From other posts it seems the cold and hot valves need replacing, is there a way to get the controller to open the cold and hot valves in a test mode, just to confirm there is no flow from the valves?
Tested the valves, had flow through both and now the 085 will actually start a cycle. Will do a full cycle as a test when I track down some washers for the water inlet connections as they seem to enjoy dribbling water all over my floor now.
Will be replacing the valves any way.

If it is intermittently not going
IE Lights up ok but will not start your problem could be the Lid Switch
IE Reed Switch
This is a magnetic switch activated by magnet in lid
Common probem on these models
If it happens again advance to spin & try
If no action more than likely above
What can also happen if machine on spin & you lift lid it may not cut out.
