    As per topic, i’m getting an AL05 error code. Anyone know what this means, just trying to sum up whether it’s work calling a hotpoint engineer to fix it outside warranty or just replace.

    The dishwasher adds water then makes all sorts of popping noises, I came downstairs and there was a slight burning smell and the fault code.

    Its about 18 months old.

    Circulation pump out of circuit, probably blown if you have had a burning smell.

    You have a 5 year parts warranty on the appliance, so this is one of those occasions where paying Hotpoint their £90 will work out in your favour!
