Has anyone come accross this one b4 Hoover HF 01 or somthing like.
Cant remember exactly Big, late, bow doors & big silver handels
Went to job and the fan was catching back molding.
So I replaced the back cover of freezer of which the fan mount is part of,
its all one piece, unlike the early one, and it worked fine….
for a week or so.
Went back, took cover off and fan was catching again.
When I took the back out this time I spotted a burn mark on the zip tie holding the defrost heater
And closer inspection revealed that the fan mount was obviously melted,
why the TOC had not cut out I don’t know.
What I did notice was the sensor is now mounted at the bottom but it seems to be the only place for it to go (never noticed b4 only 2nd one)
Has any one cured this fault b4 as i dont want to fit a sensor and melt it again and find out its the board..P.S. Is the board the same as the early frost free it lookes the same but I’ve been quoted nearly £100 for the board!!!!!!!!
