    stat faulty,ordered stat-no problem.
when trying to fit new stat you need to push capillary down a hole(tube) until the capillary get’s to the red mark painted on it.The problem being the capillary hits something about 5 inches from the red mark and stops.I suspect this will stop the stat working correctly, any suggestions?

    hi cab,
thats the stat alright, first time i’ve come across the problem as well,no frozen water, machine been off for 3 days.
i’ll have to see how it goes with the capillary not in all the way,i suspect it wont stat out though as the capillary wont be on the evaporator correctly.

hope it works ok the reason I gave thestat type was its not unusual to get the wrong stat in the right bag if you get my drift!
