Strange given the amount of Hotpoint machines I do that I have never seen any of the smaller bearings., although I know they exist. I don’t think there is a ‘kit’. I stand to be corrected but a drum rear and shaft may be your only alternative. You may source the right sized bearings but the seal may be a different matter.
No doubt one of the ‘official’ bods will clarify the situation.

I do a hell of a lot of wma series bearings and i have never seen these in them before i think i might just get a full wma tub and put it in rather than putting in a drum half from indesit.
but i would rather use a bearing kit if any does know
thanx though:)September 22, 2006 at 8:57 am #189214mike1

i have just been having a good scoot about it, it has got a plastic bracket behind the door hinge, the wiring clips are straight from an indesit and the wholmachine just feels different tiny differences all over
right down to the fact that the heater wires actually come off without 5 men and an ass to pull at them 😆September 22, 2006 at 8:24 pm #189216iadom

Some mate, it is a well known fact that certain lower spin speed models were fitted with thinner drumshafts and smaller bearings. :rolls:September 22, 2006 at 8:33 pm #189217DDSDDS

Hi jj, is there a bearing kit for these smaller shaft/bearing assy’s or do you replace with the standard kit?
