    Hi,

I have inherited an AEG Competence single built in fan oven (white) with no identifiable markings, Although after searching some manuals it could be a 3030? Very simple oven with just a clock and timer on the left, temperature control and oven/grill selection knobs. I would estimate it is about 8/9 years old.

The oven is cutting out intermittantly due to the safety cut out and I have found out that this is happening because the oven is constantly heating as the thermostat is not working (red light on all the time).

As I have no idea of the model number, could someone please point me in the direction of a new temperature control switch/thermostat.

    Cheers,
    Neil

A universal type would normally do the trick like this one:

That fits quite a few Italian and German made cookers but without a complete model number it’s hard to be certain 😉

Check you’re old one for likeness (with the power off of course :zap:) 😀

    Dave.
