ParticipantI am repairing awg320wh integrated washer dryer, I have identified the fault (half load switch contacts burnt) I identified the parts req using whirlpool parts cd “sios” which lists as the part, kit containing four push button switches and mounting bracket. part No 481927638216. on attempting to fit the kit, I noticed that the half load switch on the machine was different to any of the switches in the kit. ie, it is a six term, two pole change over switch, the switches in the kit comprise of two single pole, three term switches, and two, single pole two term switches !
I have contacted whirlpool about this, and they cant come up with any help, they say I have the correct part, and although there are twelve variations on this model, there is only one awg320wh. I have also tried to find the part using Servis model numbers, but there are many different versions of the machine in this variation of its existence.
I have spent what seems like hours trawling through lists of push button switches of all makes, to try and find a similar switch, with no luck.
help….. has any one come across this problemSeptember 22, 2006 at 5:51 pm #189286Penguin45

522000800 or 522004602 will be what you want. Either will do.

Thanks for the info Chris, but I have already checked out 522000800, which was a six term sw, but has been changed to a two term one ! The 522004602 I can find on various distributors databases, but there is no pictures available, and phone calls to them have not been of any help. But even if I were to find the correct switch I would still have to fit the kit, as the original switch mountings are different to the new switches, ie the new switch will not fit the original mounting bracket.
The search goes on ! ! !
