    Hi, hopefully somebody can help me out with this problem

    If I press the programme selector button the only thing that happens is the ‘eco’ light turns on or off rather than cycling through the different progs.

    If I press and hold the half-load button or the reset button, the machine runs through a 1hr15 programme

    There are no flashing error lights and I have let the machine run through this program in the hope it sorts itself out…no joy though!

    It’s within the 1st year so I will get hotpoint out but wondered if there was anything I could try before I do.

    Sounds a pretty illogical problem…… Illogical problems are usually computer board related.

    You’re in warranty, so get them out and let us know how you go.

    I suspect that there is nothing to be achieved by opening it up to have a look.

    I’ll let you know how I get on. Any ideas how long Hotpoint take to come out? The washing up is already doing my head in!

    Terrible things, dishwashers – once you’ve had one, you can’t go back……. 😀 . The forums are not full of complaints about slow service at the moment, so I imagine they’ll get there in a couple of days.
