Can’t re-set my dishwasher

Hi folks, be ever so grateful for some advice…
My house has a Diplomat dishwasher which is 6 yrs old and has worked fine since I’ve been here (5 months)
Now, it appears to be stuck. The soak cycle button is on and flashes, and double-beeps now and then but the machine won’t let me select another cycle and is stuck on the soak light. However, if I shut the door with the power on it doesn’t actually do anything…. I’ve tried leaving it on/ off overnight with the door open/shut in an effort to get it to re-set itself but no luck.
The model number is ADP8132 and also says on the side Type 12043.
