Oh ‘eck – this is the old Thomson/Brandt machine and it’s a complete swine to work on. Yes, tipping the machine on its side has probably run water into parts of the fill matrix and water level control system that shouldn’t have water in. All you can really do is methodically work your way round all the internal hoses, get them drained and try again. Worth also checking the air collection chamber at the back of the sump under the filter.
All the internal hoses are ok, but I am having problems finding the air collection chamber.
Could you please help with this?
Also could there be any other explanations for the lack of water going into the machine. There is currently not enough water to cover the heating element.
