    Hi

We have a Smeg DW166 it is dispalying E7 and the water did not drain. I have tried as per the book and checked for blockages.

The machine has had a history of PCB’s one every 2 years (3 since we got it.

I thought of trying a reset and have searched on forum but all messages on the forum relate to other models with LED’s this model has a LCD display.
What is the reset procedure ?
Is it likely to be another PCB or a pump?

If it is the PCB what is the approx price

    Thanks Dave

    DWI66?

E7 is a flow meter fault – your machine does not have a flow meter. The reset procedure should reset the computer. Consider that this is effectively a corruption error – it is usually caused by the solenoid on the soap dispenser and that you should consider replacing it.

    Dispenser is p/no 812890054 – £43.12 + VAT etc
    Computer is p/no 816290365 – £166.04 + VAT etc 😯

Mail to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you decide to order any of the above.

Stay safe – power off if removing any panel.

    Regards,
