    Does anyone know what this means. The washer has recently been moved. Do I need an engineer?

    Sounds like something has got wet or dislodged. Was it a house move ie washer tipped on side without transit bolts refitted to stop the drum from colliding with the internal components?

    We had a new kitchen fitted so it has been moved about quite a lot without the transit bolts fitted. Guess I need an engineer?

    Yes try the Repairs@ link on the LHS of the screen.
