ParticipantGot this one with frozen solid evaporator. Did this 9 months ago. Defrost ok since. It is in a childrens nursery kitchen so commercial environment. Temp hovering minus 13. Is there a known fault with these appliances? took readings across all the plugs after hairdrying the frost.

I know they don’t (as most frost free) like being sparcely filled as it then makes them work harder.
Usually very reliable 😀

Yeah cust paid 700 quid for it. The job before that i was admiring one thinking that is a nice bit of kit sat next to a old Neff fridge freezer integrated with broken freezer door i was quoting on. Then see two in one day. A weird week so far. still not as weird as the lady with hoover washer dryer seized fan motor was telling me that she had just had a huge central heating flood which sunk next doors garden. The reason. WWII unexploded bomb underground :eeek:

Frosted again today. Anybody have any ideas on what could play up if a few have been seen by now?

In these environments they tend to be in and out of them more than in a domestic environment, also they have been known to leave the door ajar a while until spotted, by then the defrost has no way of recovery.
Is circulation fan running ok?
Will send you some info down ok Simon.Greg

Got another one same fault. Heaters NTC metered ok, put in test mode supply at connecter pins. Seems to point to module. Has anybody come up with a fix for this problem?
