    FD 8484 06222.

Initial complaint, grinding noise and not washing.

Selected a 65° wash and switched on, drain, fill and wash all seemed OK. No noise, good pressure from spray arms.

After prewash cycle had finished machine drained but stuck at this point, with the drain pump running. I suspect the noise was from the drain pump getting hot after running for a prolonged period of time.

At this point, when I opened the door, it continued to drain.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Jim
I would suspect water in the base and there are two usual supsects-

1/ Weeping seam of water valve plastic construction (Look hard for that and weeps when appliance is off)

2/ Weeping from sealing where re circ pump enters sump manifold.

    Base removal

Put it on its back, watching the drain hose and remove the two Torx 20 screws from the steel base and tease away from main casing, then un couple earth from heater and keep flood float safe for later 😉
Nothing like the old Bosch bases :haier:

Just to tidy this one up.

It was a leak, 🙂 Actually from the circulation pump impellor gland seal.

    A 419027 seal kit, sorted. 8)
