    Hi there,

    My SmartDrive will not allw me to run it and comes up with the error code 1101 reading right to ledt (ie, 00001011 on the display as you look at it). By my calculations this is error code 13?

    Could someone please tell me what this means so I can begin to work out how to repair my washing machine?

    ‘Ello,

    Problem with the pressure switch (water level control) system. The switch is sending a negative signal to the computer, instead of a positve one. Basic steps to take:
    Drain all the water from the machine. Remove air hose from pressure switch – blow through and clear any water which may have entered. Check condition of air hose for pinholes, kinks, trapping etc. If the machine continues to bring up the fault, the pressure switch itself may be faulty. It is integral with the computer board, so a fairly expensive replacement if this is the case.

    Stay safe, pull the plug.

    Hi Penguin45,

    Thanks for the advice. I followed your instructions, and could not find any probelms with the hose. Error still comes up so I am assuming it’s the pressure switch (bugger).

    Time for a new washer methinks – this is an 11-year old unit and has moved countries and states within Australia (copping a bashing in the process) so I will toddle off and find something a bit more reliable.

    Thanks for your help. All the stuff on this form (diagnostics, finding error codes and the like) has been awesome.

    Just Double Checking Fault Code
    00001011 Fault code 11 Pressure Sensor Fault

    00001101 Fault Code 13 Pump Fault
