Hello, This is to fill out more of the information that my dad (wynmorgan) posted about the Canon Harmony Dual fuel cooker.

    The model number is 10216G
    The serial number is 78 1 0170

The burner is the one at the back on the left.

All the rest of the plate igniters spark. This one does not. This is since a house move.

if you need more information please let me know.

    Thanks 🙂

    mogy,

Sadly we cannot supply parts for gas cookers and would advise you instead to contact a local CORGI registered repairer/supplier.

Gas and gas appliances are dangerous and require caution when fitting parts. We do not condone DIY repairs in any way to gas appliance. Sorry! 🙁

Alternatively you may wish to try the link below for a local repairer in your area that may be CORGI approved?

    okay I can appreciate that.

In that case can I ask a slighly different question or should I move it to the cooker forum. Has anyone needed to replace this part and does it cost much to buy and then get a CORGI person in for fitting?

    thanks 🙂

I have to admire your ‘back door’ approach to your dilemma and would like again point you to our Repairs@ link (below). Cannon of course have their own repairers (listed under ‘Hotpoint’ in your phone book). You may also like to contact a local plumbers merchant such as Plumb Center for a replacement part should you persist in the DIY ‘blow yourself to bits method!’ 😕

    LOL 😀

I hadn’t quite realised how my wording could be read, please rest assured I am not looking to do it myself. I was just curious on pricing of the item as well as the CORGI person, but now see how it could be read as ‘persistant’ ;).

I will contact the relevant people.

    Thanks for you guidance 😳
