    Hi all, my washer/dryer has been failing to dry for a few weeks so I admit that I just didn’t use the function, but now its also started retaining water & not spinning either – can anyone give me some pointers as to what could be wrong please 😕

    Have you checked and cleaned out the pump filter. Behind the lower front panel, on the left, other than that, as this is a very heavy integrated machine I would suggest pro help.

    Possibly made by Smeg, not to sure.

    Thats great thanks, my other half has had his head under it this evening and pulled the pump apart so I think that a new pump will shortly be on order! many thanks.

    Actually Hotpoint and Whirlpool had similar machines too!
