    Hi all,

    have the above machine with a F-01 fault indication which is Short Circuit-Motor Triac. Where is this situated ? and could this fault indicate a fault with the motor?

    Oh Dear! It’s part of the main board, clearly the motor is at fault as the cause but the board would have to be replaced as well?

    As it is covered by Hotpoints 5 year parts guarantee, best direct your customer to them to sort it. 😉

    check the motor plug pull on wires as sometimes they break in plug, had this quite often
