Calling to this on Saturday, not to sure about details, apparently it will wash but stick on/skip rinses and stick with Spin & Start neons flashing. If manually advanced to the spin cycle it will drain & spin.

The bloke who phoned was a bit vague, he even left my phone number on my answerphone instead of his, had to 1471 for it.

    Any pointers?

    Jim.

    Hi Jim
I cannot find a fault code utilising the “Start” neon. A gut feeling would be one of the rinse valves gone west 😉

The fault indicated is a water fill time out according to bosch technical site.

Spin lamp flashing is, hence suggest one of the valves may have failed 😉

I’d be inclined to check the pressure system and the anti syphon box for blockages.Knackered pumps also give this fault.
Would agree its probably the valve but giving it the once over you know its a done job and you wont get called back two weeks later with the customer saying its the same fault.Regardless which led flashes.
Sure you know all that Jim but i like to reply to a post now and then instead of just posting them!!Also its makes my 15year stint at bsh seem sort of worth while!

Thanks for all the replies, as they say around these parts, ” two heads are better than one, even if its a sheeps y’ead”. 😆
