    Hoover HNC270-80 condenser drier. 31100064 0428 0333.

    Fault reported – no heat.
Checked all stats;(2 over heater and one on the front filter ‘manifold’) all associated wiring and the heater unit. All OK. Is there anything else left to test apart from the computer PCB? There is no power to any wire supplying the heater. I have inspected the PCB for blown tracks/dodgy solder joints but everything looks OK. This drier is just over a year old!
    Any help appreciated!! 😕

    Thanks!!

    Steve.

P.S. I can’t seem to find the part number for the PCB on Connections – there are no parts listed for this machine on Mediator. A part number would be very useful – thanks! 😀

I will email you the manual Steve, check your mail! 😉

Curiously it shows a 91201247 Relay on the parts list but I can’t find it on the drawing? But that could be the fault, if it has one that is??? 😕

Thanks Martin and Whitevanman – I’m pretty sure it is the PCB at fault; the manual shows no other possible culprits. The relay shown is a door release/ start button activated unit – fitted one of these last week so I recognise it. Although the manual did show a pressure switch!!? 😕 Don’t remember seeing one in this drier. It’s linked to the motor and heater so I’m guessing it acts as an overfill safety cut-out switch for one or both of them. (although I can’t fathom why it would need it).
I’ll go and see if I can find a pressure switch first; just to be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} sure before ordering the PCB.

    Thanks again Guys!! 😀

4 years ago………I have trouble remembering what I did yesterday!! 😳 Can’t recall what I did to it TBH; but I’ll dig out my old diaries and see if it jogs the memory.

Ooops sorry didn’t notice the date of the post.
Don’t go to any trouble Steve I’m fairly sure it’s the board as it’s about the only thing left.
