I have a Samsung RS21NCSV which suffered from the usal “freezer fine fridge not” syndrom.
I have replaced the evaporator cover, fridge sensor, thermal fuse and the heater element below the evaporator.
When I do the diagnostic test I am still getting 1 horizontal line in the middle of the eight on the fridge side.
I think the fridge is not defrosting as is warming after a few days?
Could there be a fault in the PCB?
Any help would be appreciated as I am stuck on an island where the two fridge engineers will not touch Samsung fridges and I am starting to see why!
    Thanks 😥

That is displayed if defrost is not completed.

Try measuring the continuity of the 2 heaters.

They are wired in parrallel so diconnect one from the other to do so. The heater attached to the evaporator should read circa 400 ohms, the drain channel heater circa 2500 ohms.

We have found several evap heaters at 6000 ohms which has been the fault.

The evap heater is only available by buying the complete evap assembly and then unclipping it….

i agree sound like main defrost heater appliance has had to come out of defrost as defrost time has over run.All point to main fridge evap heater.

Thanks for the reply but it was a new heater I have fitted this week so would expect the resistance to be ok.
