ParticipantHi 🙂
Got the above fridge freezer to goto on monday and the water tank has frozen and split, had a quick look the other day and I can see were one end fits on the fill valve at the back but can not see were the other end goes.Do I have to pull the freezer side to bits to change the tank any help would be welcome 🙂

ok well the main problem with this model seems to be the fridge backpanel suffers from ICEBALLING stopping the fan causing poor cooling. But a bye product is the bottom of fridge freezes and the water chiller freezes aalso in extreme cases it splits. Havent changed one so not sure where the pipes go but I reckon 48 hours total defrost so you can feed the new pipework thru but if you dont replace the back panel it will fail again, also test each component, defrost element, toc, sensor.

HI 🙂
Just to let you know I called this morning and fitted new part, the water tank was straight forward, one end on the valve at the back and the other was behind lower trim 😀 😀 the only problem I had was removing all the bl***y ice 😆 thanks guys

Just got steamer to defrost ice because we are doing so many of these but as I said before the ice build up is a problem with the back panel, you might get a recall on this! 😥

Participantsorry for the ;late reply Samsung have modified the evap cover they look the same but the foam is different. If you order the evap cover they can somtimes send the old type through. You normally have to use the old terminal block of the old one as the new one comes with different fitting.Thats how you tell if they send the old type

Next one you need to do, have a word with Dave C or r600a first – you’ll get a pleasant surprise.
