    Can anyone help me..? HOTPOINT ULTIMA WF860

    My fabric softener drawer is always full of water after every wash. Why is this happening?

    Clean the drawer and clean the mould from the roof of the drawer.

    I have cleaned the drawer itself, quite thoroughly, and the roof of the drawer aperture.. with a toothbrush. ( an OLD one… or was it my boyfriends!!! ) 😈

    Its since I have cleaned it that I have had the problem. 🙁

    Could it be that I have inadvertantly blocked something up? ❓ 😳 ❓

    Nah! You’ve probably not located it (seated it) correctly that’s all?

    Have you tested that the fabric conditioner works before putting it back in the machine I wonder? Simply hold the drawer level and pour a cup full of water into the fabric conditioner compartment. The water should completely drain away by syphoning out of the drawer as you hold it steady over the kitchen sink! If that works OK then it’s OK to push back into the machine. 😀
