Tricity Bendix DH101 – Not filling with water

The dishwasher at the start of the cycle starts tom pump out any water left in from the previous wash. Then it would normally fill with water but does not. Im sure i can hear what i think is the pump that allows the water through.. I then fill the dishwasher with 3 large pans of water and then it auto starts to wash. It goes thought the motions like normal untill it need to rinse the crockery etc etc, and i need to fill it up again.. Im not too fussed about filling especially if im in the house anyway.. just a pain if i need to go out.

inlet pipes are fine, water is flowing freely. Tilted the dishwasher backwards and all seems ok.. not that i know what im looking for.. lol

any help would be greatly appreciated.
