    I have mentioned this in the past, as has DC.

    I have just received one of these heater box mod kits. Can the kind sponsors of this forum explain why it comes from them with a small amount of bubble wrap, loosely wrapped round it, without original part label, no fitting instructions etc. Surely this is not how they are dispatched by Hotpoint. ❓ 😥

    I do know how to fit them of course, it just seems a bit of a messy way to send parts out.

    You won,t for much longer, that part has just been declared obselete due to yet another heater box assy and compatabillity issues

    1605710 is the part number, however this is only a direct replacement for the original spiral element type with flushing hose, it can,t be used to replace the bleckman type heater as fitted in 1605230, but the individual parts are available for that.
