Switched back on and now the main oven is not working – no light no fan, nothing! Top oven / grill are still working. I therefore assume that the main fuse is okay but somethign internal has blown?? Advice please! October 12, 2006 at 10:49 am #191933 iadomModerator Re: Fan Oven Hotpoint UY46 help please Have you reset the clock, is it set to Auto instead of Manual? Not sure if the timer controls operate for both ovens on this model, worth a check though. Jim. This is exactly the sort of thing I love the internet for and why I recommend this forum to everyone. Without the internet I may have resorted to calling out a repair person and if they had been unscrupulous could have ended up with a large bill!
