    Hello,

    I’ve looked around for a solution to this problem, but no joy.

    Our Hygena APL 8222 dishwasher has been working fine for quite a while, but recently it has been overfilling at the start of a program.

    I can move the program dial to successfully drain the dishwasher.

    💡 Could it be a ‘float valve’ problem? If so, where is it in the Hygena APL 8222.

    That one doesnt use a float valve, it has a pressure switch. could only be a blocked pressure chamber but that is not an easy machine to work on and you will need an engineer. hope you dont live in my area as its a horrid piece of work!

    Don’t worry, I don’t live anywhere near London. Sitting pretty in N.Ireland.
    Any guidance for fixing this chamber?

    Or is it best practice to dump this piece of ‘Hygena’ high quality machinery :rolls: ?
