Earth connection on Bosch motors

    I have noticed a few times now that some Bosch washing machines do not have an earth connection on the motor, even though they are connected with resilient rubber mounts. Surely this does not meet with British Standards!

    The machine today is a WFB2405GB/33, there is an earth strap to the motor mounting but not to the motor itself.

    Any thoughts?

    might be compliant, after all hoover new wave /soft wave motors were not earthed. I’m not sure if internal components can be classed as class two. anyone know the full story?
