ParticipantHi again (visiting here too often recently!)
Having a problem with the bottom oven (fan) in a Zanussi Duo. We have only just moved in and it wasnt working – i would of replaced the element but something makes me think it is a more than that.
When i switch the oven on, the power light above the knob doesnt come on – the light in the oven doesnt work either so i swapped the bulb with the top oven to check – bulb is OK. Whats my next step?? ❓
Also, it looks like the top element has been replaced with the wrong one, it hangs down and doesnt fit its clips. Do you sell these(couldnt see them)??
TIA paul

Top element hanging down? Clock unit packed up some time ago and not replaced? Dear oh dear this is not looking good? Potenial safety issues with this one that’s for sure. :rolls:

i cant find the model no on the front/doors – the instruction book cover the “ZHF865 W/B/X”
WRT the top element – it looks like the wrong one was fitted. The clips dont fit in the holes in the side (2″ out) and there is no screw in the top. Too right its a safety issue – the missus has burnt her hand a couple of time. And its my safety if it doesnt get fixed asap!!! 😉

There is a relay in the timer which must be in the closed position to activate the main oven. No timer = no oven.
Electronic timer is p/no 3113518-02/5, grill element is p/no 3113713-00/6. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.

It’s all screwdriver level stuff. The hardest bit is usually getting into the damn things. Patience and safety – power off.
