    customer has a ecm1957, prod no 920681020.has pcb in handle area.compressor will run for about 15 secs and sounds ok,but then the pcb appears to switch it off and then the lights flash & the alarm sounds.
    any ideas,pcb hopefully.

    Hi have had loads of trouble with this type of control. might be the board itself, should display a fault. NTC sensor the red LED and the green LED blinking alternately, “-36” in the display, the compressor stops. If it is ntc dont think it can be repaired from memory its foamed into cabinet, but Electrolux have changed suppliers of certain board makes (about3-4 from memory) hope this helps 🙂

    certainly sounds like the pcb, everything goes through it to operate freezer. part no should be 2914068024.
