    Wondered if anyone could kindly shed some light on what might be wrong with our CTD80 Hotpoint Tumble Condensing Dryer? The Error Code F10 appears within 2 mins of starting the machine. Any help would be very appreciated.

    Fault in heater or related thermostats, or wiring. Saftey stat failed most likely.
    Please remove mains plug if you intend to investigate further.

    Thanks Jim, is this something I can buy from a white goods supplier and fit myself? I’m of the reasonable level of DIY ability!

    You really need to check the various components and wiring with the correct electrical test equipment before ordering or fitting anything.
