    The machine washes well but we have to use a knife to both open AND close the door. Is this repairable and, if so, how can we find out how much this would cost/who to contact?

    Full model number would be a help and serial number

    Better late than never, our tenant has finally given me the following info on the washing machine:-

    Bendix Autowasher 1000
    Bendix Type C80577
    Model No 71388
    Serial No 22301288
    Product No 914490443

    Can anyone help with my question in the first post please? 🙂

    Broken door handle. P/no 50203129-00/7. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.

    Fitting involves taking the door off and removing the outer panel to access the handle.
