    Hi,
I need to replace the motor brushes on my AEG Lavamat 6450 sensortronic machine but I can’t find out the part number; can anyone help?
Also, the old brushes broke and the spring pulled up one of the contacts on the commutator. It looks a little scarred but I think I could press it back into shape and smooth off the burrs. Does this seem a resonable course of action?
A new motor is more than the price of a new machine and yet this washer is so well made- it could last many years yet.

    Hi

No if the comm is damaged you will need a new motor, pushing a segment back would not work.
