    Hi
Replace it for a 10A won’t get any call backs. Same with Maytag aswell the inline fuse is more of an importance in US where they have no plugtop fuse.

Tried a 10A fuse myself once and got a nice puff of white smoke from the timer.
The fault was fixed with a new start switch on the motor.
Oh yes and a new timer 😳

Thats odd, I dare say a 6.3A may not have saved the timer. The 10A was advised by a tech bod 😕
