Honest I’m begining to think this m/c is haunted. When m/c on stop position but switched on, hot valve starts to fill, even with door open[customer complains of damp warm clothes after wash]. Put m/c onto spin prog, switch on ,starts to fill on the 10sec start up period! Switch off & it stops filling [getting abouit 210v at valve when switched on]. Tried the usual ,valve ,pump, door interlock ,disconnect heater, motor [you never know!], had Tony at EMW look at the PCB twice[cheers Tony], tested the wiring between slave timer & PCB,even a new slave timer. I can only think there is a short somewhere in the wiring loom 🙁 . The customer has got a new m/c from us now ,but I’m just cureous as to what this bloody fault is before I call an Exorcist in 😈 👿 .Anybody else had this problem?I just don’t like m/cs getting the better of me,I’m sure you guys don’t either! This is quite a common fault on the new servis machines, module every time. (Triac fault). I assume if you put the hot valve wires onto the cold valve the cold valve energises? The only other odd faults I’ve had on this type of machine have been due to low heater insulation and pump coil shorted. Have you checked the resistance of the pump rather than continuity?

A thought….Can’t you just disconnect the wiring to the hot valve. I think this machine just runs on cold unless you do the boil wash??????

Even tried new pump & yes swapping wires sets the cold valve off!Even with the heater disconnected it still does it’s own thing! I tell ya it’s haunted 👿 . Chris.. 8)
