on/off light on,programme set light on but not a peep out of the machine.Checked all the usual suspects(with the help of circuit diagram kindly tucked next to the timer) but no joy,I suspect the timer now, but I believe this is a Brandt machine -I’ve not met one of these before-and are spares difficult?I dont want to drag it out and dig further if this is the case.Another 5o’clock Friday job to wind me up!
If you found the wiring diagram then you know where the timer is.
Give the timer a click or two clockwise to see if it kicks into life; if it does then suspect the start button or wiring. All the start button does is to supply power to the timer motor.
Thanks but Ive tested the start switch, door microswitches, and the timer although some of the wire colours were different than those indicated on the diagram(yellow instead of grey(F4) for the pump circuit-I couldnt figure where this went as the pump wires were grey and blue)Test for pump was F3 to F4 on the timer. As its an awkward built-in I was really trying to find out what spares situation was like on these machines before I committed myself further.
