Have to say great site, keep up the good work!

After 18 months from new, a severe error has occured. No water enters the machine (audible click) and the the control knob rotates and the light flashes 10 times. After another click, the pump (which I cleared a bonus pound from) operates continuously along with the rotating knob.

In addition, the drum has completed filled with (clean) water twice. Thankfully I noticed it on both occasions and, in error mode, the pump usefully discharged the entire contents of the drum.

Having unplugged and opened up, I’ve measured the resistance of the solenoid coils and get around 3k Ohm. Not so sure how useful this is!

I think from what I’ve read it’s on its way to a scrapheap but given its short life I would appreciate a chance at repair. If you think this is a bad idea or that the unit is kaput I’d greatly value your opinion on an alternative machine – happy to spend the right amount for a unit that will last the years.

    Thanks in advance

Problem with the water level (pressure) switch not sensing. Air hose may be blocked/kinked/trapped/holed, air collection chamber may be sludged. Switch may be faulty.

Power off if investigating, or click below for a UKW engineer in your area.
